For couples and families

Relationship and family mediation

Mediation creates a structured space for a conversation that has become difficult to have alone. Each person has an opportunity to explain their perspective and work towards practical arrangements with the other participants.

When this may help

  • The same disagreement keeps returning without a workable next step.
  • Family roles, responsibilities or boundaries have become unclear.
  • You need to discuss practical arrangements while preserving future communication.

Who attends?

The people involved in the disagreement, voluntarily. You may contact me alone to discuss whether and how to invite the others.

How we get started

  1. 1. Send a short enquiry

Choose this service and suggest a time and format. I reply in English within 24 hours to arrange the free introduction.

  2. 2. Agree the focus

Identify the questions you would like to discuss. We talk about attendance, confidentiality and whether the process is suitable before a joint meeting.

  3. 3. Work through the situation

A clearer understanding of the different needs and, where participants agree, practical next steps. The mediator does not decide the outcome for you.

Professional boundaries

Mediation is unsuitable where abuse or coercion prevents free participation. It is different from couples therapy. We discuss an appropriate next step if another form of support is needed.
